    Last updated 3 November 2026

    WHO I AM

Jeroen Hoppe Property Limited, trading as Jeroen Hoppe Powered by eXp, is the data controller for the personal information you give me when you ask for a market appraisal, a rental valuation or anything else about your property. I decide how your information is used, and I don't share it with eXp or with anyone else, apart from the service providers listed below that I use to run my business. In this notice "I" and "me" mean Jeroen Hoppe Property Limited.

Company: Jeroen Hoppe Property Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 14828992

Registered office: 213 Brighton Road, South Croydon, CR2 6EJ

    ICO registration: ZB540421

Redress scheme: The Property Ombudsman, membership number T09190

    Contact: jeroen.hoppe@expuk.com or 07837 093554

WHAT I COLLECT AND WHERE IT COMES FROM

    • Your name, phone number and email address

    • The road and postcode of your property, and what you tell me about it: the area, type, timing, and whether it's let or empty

    • If you came through a Facebook or Instagram advert: which advert and form you used, and when

    • Notes from our calls and messages, and any appointment we book

I get this information from you: through a Facebook or Instagram form, my website, phone, email or WhatsApp. On Facebook and Instagram forms, Meta fills in some details from your profile, and you can change them before you send the form.

HOW I USE IT AND WHY I'M ALLOWED TO

    • Contacting you about your request and arranging your appraisal or valuation: steps you've asked me to take before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b))

    • Keeping a record of your enquiry and following up on the same request: legitimate interests, answering the request you made and running my business (Article 6(1)(f))

    • Occasional local market updates by email: your consent, given with the optional tick box (Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time

    • Identity and anti-money laundering checks if you go on to instruct me: legal obligation under the Money Laundering Regulations 2017 (Article 6(1)(c))

    • Seeing which of my adverts work: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)). I only see results in total, not who saw an advert

    WHO I SHARE IT WITH

I don't share your information with eXp or any other third party. The only people who handle it are the service providers I use to run my business, under contract and only on my instructions:

    • Google (email and spreadsheets), Make (the automation that moves your enquiry into my records), WhatsApp (if I message you there) and Loop (my property CRM)

    • Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, which runs Facebook and Instagram and hosts the forms. Meta handles your information on its own platforms under its own privacy policy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy

    • The only exception is if the law requires me to pass it on, for example to a regulator, The Property Ombudsman, the police or a court

    • I never sell your information

Some of these providers store information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is protected by UK adequacy regulations, the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.

    HOW LONG I KEEP IT

    • If you don't go on to instruct me: up to 24 months after our last contact, then deleted

    • If you instruct me: for as long as I act for you, then as long as the law requires, including 5 years for anti-money laundering records

    • Market updates: until you unsubscribe or ask me to stop

YOUR RIGHTS AND HOW TO COMPLAIN

You have the right to see the information I hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how I use it (including stopping marketing at any time), to have it moved to someone else, and to withdraw your consent. Email or call me to use any of these rights. There's normally no fee and I'll reply within one month.

I don't make decisions about you by automated means. I read every enquiry myself. Meta uses its own automated systems to decide who sees adverts, under its privacy policy.

If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, please tell me first so I can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

I'll change the date at the top of this notice whenever I update it.
